I tried to resist. I downloaded too many TED talks, tuned into NPR, and caught up on Hulu. But, let’s be honest, Adele’s new album isn’t out (until tomorrow) and all of my favorite shows had their “winter” finale this week filled with poinsettias and tinsel. I caved. Christmas music has been played.
So, despite it being a week before Thanksgiving, I wanted to publish this post. As SLPs we have unique skills and tastes. We love our profession and adore any gifts that acknowledge those letters after our name or help our clients make progress with their goals. Sometimes the only thing getting you through the day is that delicious dirty chai tea latte on your desk. Now, most people will say to grab a Starbucks gift card for your favorite SLP.
