2nd Blogiversary!!!

January 3, 2014

Wow!  How time flies!  I cannot believe that it has been 2 years since setting up this little blog to share my therapy ideas with the world.  I would never have guessed that I would have readers at all, let alone thousands!  I know that blogging has made me a better therapist.  I think about how to make therapy more evidence-based and fun and get to collaborate with SLPeeps from around the world on a daily basis.  I am thankful for EACH of you!  I am so thankful and humbled by your support and look forward to many more years of blogging about speech-language pathology!
As a little thank you to the many of you that stop in to Sublime Speech on a regular basis through the blog, facebook, twitter, TpT, etc… I wanted to throw a little party!  Enter below!

Looking back on the past year of bloggy fun, my favorite highlights of 2013 have been finding humor in most SLP situations through Ecards that I have created.  They have been immensely popular and I have loved seeing you all get such a kick out of them.  Here are my favorites from this year:
Have an excellent 2014!!!

I forgot to add that I think my favourite is the one about not being tired after a day of “playing games”. My work kids zap me of energy and then I have to go home and do it all again with my own kids!

My favorite e-card is the comparison of scheduling to playing tetris. I wish more teachers would understand the chain reaction when they ask to change Johnny’s speech time…

Scheduling clients and repeating words to yourself are my two favorite ecards 🙂 I may or may not spend a little bit of time every night browsing ecards online and saving a bunch to my phone.. I send them out to friends periodically! Somehow so many of them describe my life perfectly?! ha ha. Happy blogiversary!!
