Wow! It’s been too long since I last posted. Working on a doctorate is no joke, apparently. I barely have enough time to fit in that work, let alone add content here right now. I promise that I’ll be back in a greater capacity soon and can’t wait to connect again.
However, right now I want to list a few wonderful resources provided by SLPs (and teachers)… Please take a look or a listen, and learn! I do not have all of the answers or all of the resources and am committed to continuing to learn so please share any resources you have in the comments below.
- From the @SLPsofColor IG account: https://linktr.ee/slpsofcolor (town hall recording and many other amazing resources!)
- From the @bilinguistics IG account:
- Portland State University Multicultural Topics in CSD
- Children’s books that discuss race and racism
- Racism Interruptions
- Multicultural Classroom Materials & Diverse Toys for Preschool
- Addressing Disparities in the Wake of Injustice, Violence, and COVID-19
- The Peachie Speechie will donate 100% of the proceeds from this shirt to the Equal Justice Initiative through 6/8 and then to the National Deaf Black Advocates through 6/13.
Please add any great resources below! Thank you!
