Thank you for your post. I am My Therapy Company’s Vice President of Recruitment and can say hands down your pros and cons of district vs. contract was pretty spot on. Of course, I am a bit biased with working internally at an agency, but knowledge is power and asking the right questions is key! I would also add if you do consider working with an agency ask additional questions such as: Do you have student loan forgiveness? What states do you work within? Do you offer travel packages? (including tax free housing stipends or meals) What clinical support do you offer? Do you offer wellness benefits, outside of health insurance? Free CEUs? Also, go with your gut. Find the agency that works best for you and what you are looking for. Best of luck!
