When I started at a new district a few years ago, I was appalled to find out that lice did not prevent a child from coming to school. I always thought that lice automatically required a few days at home to be taken care of, but nope! Definitely hard to do therapy while my scalp is tingling. And ugh, “Me do it!” was all over my preschool caseload.
