This is hilarious! When I started at a new district a few years ago, I was appalled to find out that lice did not prevent a child from coming to school. I always thought that lice automatically required a few days at home to be taken care of, but nope! Definitely hard to do therapy while my scalp is tingling. And ugh, “Me do it!” was all over my preschool caseload.

YES! And “Dath a bat winner!” (“That’s a Black Widow!”) as he points to the spider crawling up the wall over your shoulder! The spider was the immediate spooky thing, followed closely by “what happened to your final /k/ sound?” And then, “how did he KNOW that?”
